The Duplex Cottages, 600 square feet across two levels. A king bed and living area on the ground floor, a queen bed in the loft above it under a pitched timber ceiling. The staircase is the whole point: it buys two generations a degree of separation that a single room never can.

These are the cottages families with teenagers ask for by name, and they book out first on long weekends. The loft has its own window and reading light, and the ground floor opens onto a small private sit-out.
