What we collect

When you book or enquire we collect your name, contact details, travel dates, guest details and payment information. At check-in we record government-issued identification as required by Uttarakhand state regulations. Our website collects standard analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type.

Why we collect it

• To process and service your booking, including safari permits and transfers
• To meet legal obligations on guest registration and taxation
• To respond to enquiries and provide customer service
• To send offers, where you have asked to receive them
• To understand how the website is used and improve it

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, and only with: our booking engine and payment gateway providers; third-party safari operators and the forest department, where you have asked us to book a permit; transport providers for transfers you have requested; and government authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies for essential functionality and for analytics. Third-party embeds — the map, Instagram reels and the booking engine — may set their own cookies when you interact with them. You can block or delete cookies through your browser; essential booking functions may not work if you do.

How long we keep it

Booking and financial records are retained for the period required by Indian tax and hospitality law. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry records are deleted after 24 months.

Your choices

You can ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it where we are not legally required to keep it, or stop sending marketing. Write to reservation@evararesort.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Payment data is handled by our payment gateway and is not stored on our servers. The website is served over HTTPS. Access to guest records is limited to staff who need it.
