Where exactly is EVARA Spa & Resort located?

Village Bhalon, Patkote, Ramnagar, Uttarakhand 263159 — about 4 km from the Jim Corbett gate and roughly 6 hours by road from Delhi. Ramnagar railway station is 15 km away; Pantnagar is the nearest airport at 85 km.

How do I reach Evara from Delhi?

Drive via Hapur, Moradabad and Kashipur to Ramnagar — around 245 km and six hours in normal traffic. By train, the Ranikhet Express runs overnight from Old Delhi to Ramnagar, and we can send a car for the last 15 km. By air, fly to Pantnagar, 85 km away, and we will arrange the transfer.

Do you arrange airport and station transfers?

Yes. Our 24-hour travel desk arranges pickups from Ramnagar station, Pantnagar airport and Delhi at fixed rates. Book at least 24 hours ahead so we can confirm a vehicle.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Accepted Answer

Check-in from 1:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can usually be arranged subject to availability — ask reservations when you book rather than on the day.

Which rooms have a private pool or jacuzzi?

Accepted Answer

The two Private Pool Villas (1,600 sq ft 3 BHK, sleeping up to 12) each have their own pool. The Premium Cottages (770 sq ft) each have a private jacuzzi with pool views.

Is the resort pet friendly?

Yes. Please tell us about your pet when you book so we can assign a suitable ground-floor cottage and brief housekeeping in advance.

Is there a restaurant, and what cuisine do you serve?

Evara Restaurant seats 110 beside the pool and serves Indian, Chinese, Continental and South Indian, plus a daily breakfast buffet. Jain, vegan and allergy-specific meals are prepared properly on request.

Do you have WiFi and power backup?

Yes to both. High-speed WiFi covers the rooms and public areas at no charge, and the property runs on full power backup, which matters more than you would think in the hills.

Can you arrange a Jim Corbett jeep safari?

Yes. Our 24-hour travel desk books permits and jeeps for the Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela and Garjiya zones, in a morning and an afternoon slot. Permits are limited, so book 10–15 days ahead — earlier for weekends and holidays.

What are the safari timings?

Timings shift with the season. In winter the morning safari runs roughly 6:30–9:30 AM and the afternoon 1:30–4:30 PM; in summer both slots move about an hour earlier and later respectively. The park confirms exact times a few days ahead and we will tell you as soon as we know.

Guided birding walks at dawn, a village cycling trail with cycles provided, the pool and sun deck, badminton and cricket on the lawn, indoor games, spa treatments, and a bonfire with Kumaoni folk music most evenings.

Yes. A 6,000 sq ft pillarless banquet hall, three open lawns and 74 rooms mean the whole property can be bought out. In-house catering, vetted decor and sound partners, and a dedicated event manager from enquiry to farewell.

The Triumph Banquet Hall seats up to 300 and the lawns take up to 600 for a standing function. For residential weddings, 74 rooms and cottages sleep up to 248 guests on property, with more accommodated nearby.

Direct bookings get the best available rate, complimentary breakfast for everyone in the room, flexible cancellation up to 72 hours, priority on room preferences, and packages that never reach the travel sites.

Direct bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 72 hours before check-in. Inside 72 hours, one night's charge applies. Peak-date and full-property bookings carry separate terms, which we set out in writing when you book.

October to February for crisp air, clear Himalayan views and the best safari conditions. March to June is warm with strong sightings near water. July to September is monsoon — deep green, quiet and atmospheric, though some safari zones close.
